Zion's Camp - July 2014

Zion's Camp was a unique experience; combining scouting and high adventure activities with daily spiritual messages.  The nightly devotionals were very focused on helping the young men make the decision now to follow the straight and narrow path, serve missions, stand up for truth amidst opposition, and live for others (ask your young men about their red handkerchiefs).

During the activities there was also a School of the Prophets class for the adult leaders...hosted by our very own Brother Tim Hall and Bishop Ryan Anderson.  The instruction provided was inspired and memorable.

Each deacon aged young man attended 4 merit badges classes while the teacher and priest aged young men participated in activities such as shotgun shooting, blow darts, repelling, mountain biking, and an obstacle course.

On the last day of camp the leaders and youth participated in a competition against each other!  To avoid making the youth relive the agony, I'll be brief and say the LEADERS WON.  We have a trophy in the clerks office to prove it :-).

Enjoy the pictures, below.  If anyone has pictures they want to share and have posted on the blog please forward them to me.
